Ms. Lalaine Cenit Cordova, the “Lalaine” in Rene & Lalaine Realty Development, is the visionary Chief Executive Officer and one of the company’s key founders. She is deeply guided by her faith and courage—her name meaning “courageous”—and embraces life with optimism, believing that “life is beautiful” and full of hope. Coming from the Cenit family of Medellin, Cebu, known for their focus on teaching and business, Lalaine holds multiple academic degrees: a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministries from the Institute of Missions and Discipleship of the Philippines, a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education majoring in English from Cebu Normal University, a Master’s in English Language Teaching completed at Southwestern University, and a PhD major in Principalship from the University of San Carlos. She worked as an English teacher and later served as principal at several schools before founding her own educational institution, Learners’ Nest Learning Center, which she ran for seven years. Simultaneously, she pursued a Bachelor of Real Estate Management degree to fulfill her passion for real estate, aligning her career with the ethical standards of the RESA Law (Republic Act 9646).

 

        Her real estate career began in 2011 when a close friend introduced her to Filinvest Land Inc., where she built over a decade of experience as an in-house sales representative. She managed key projects such as Amalfi Oasis and Sanremo Oasis in Cebu City and earned numerous awards, including Rookie of the Year and Top 3 Sales Representative for the Visayas and Mindanao cluster in 2015, along with a Plaque of Excellence in 2018. Known for her exceptional time management, Lalaine balanced her roles as a school principal, real estate professional, and graduate student, driven by her motto, “If there’s a will, there’s a way.”

 

           The COVID-19 pandemic brought a turning point, leading her to focus fully on real estate development in Medellin, Cebu, where she now consolidates properties for solar renewable energy projects and offers promising investments through Rene & Lalaine Realty Development’s flagship subdivision, Qavah Plains. Leaving behind her position as Sales Director at Filinvest Land Inc., she embraced the vision of becoming a trusted Cebuana developer dedicated to delivering quality projects with honesty, avoiding the pitfalls of overpromising and underdelivering that plague the industry. Her leadership is rooted in the belief that “Excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude,” and she is inspired by Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Under her management, Rene & Lalaine Realty Development continues to grow with a commitment to integrity, quality, and service excellence.
