Our History
When the whole world was in chaos and everyone was in trouble, no one knew where to go or what to do. Amidst the confusion, there was one person from the south of Cebu who answered the call. She believed in brokerage transactions, stood up, secured a solar farm, and fought for her family and friends to survive during the unexpected pandemic that threatened everyone's health and safety. The crisis began in January 2020 and led to an official lockdown on March 9, 2020.
Everything could be traced back to Solar Philippines, which prompted broker-teacher Lalaine Cenit Cordova, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rene & Lalaine Realty Development Corporation, to travel 127 kilometers peacefully from Tungkil, Minglanilla, Cebu, to Medellin, Cebu—the northern part of Cebu—in search of a hundred hectares or more of vast land for a solar energy project. She carried a strong hope that it would be a successful endeavor. However, the transaction failed due to unclear information from their Land Acquisition Manager, who had also traveled from Makati. Their budget per square meter did not meet the sellers’ requirements. Later, we learned that the Land Acquisition Manager was also contacting other agents and brokers for the land consolidation, which caused an unwanted rift.

Those were the years from 2020 and 2021 that we had our company named and registered in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under 4M’s Realty & Brokerage as the leading banner that endorses and offers about 345 hectares consolidated lands that we had worked for, spent much, and labored day and night.
From failed different brokerage transactions, we tried to explore and took chances in diverting our business and engaged in construction that started to open doors from May 25, 2021. We dissolved the former company and registered R & L Realty, Development under DTI on October 2021, in collaboration with Capt. Rene Carulasan Olivar as the Chief Operating Officer, (COO).
It was then that we started picking up in the industry and had successive construction contracts with government and private clients.
Brainstorming never ends while waiting for the right time for us to be closing deals with brokerage transactions for the economy was still struggling due to pandemic.
After much prayers and conceptualizing on how we can really have a lifetime business that could help other families who are employed with us, using the vast real estate experience that the CEO had in Cebu City, QAVAH PLAINS Lot ONLY Subdivision came to its existence. Acquiring the 63, 712 Square Meter Miranda Land in Sitio Bankal, Barangay Dayhagon, Medellin, Cebu was the first real estate project that serves as the portal to each and every other subdivision that the company is going to open.
From the 144-hectare vast land acquisition that was successfully acquired and converted from Agricultural to Agro- Industrial by LH Paragon Incorporated in Barangay Canhabagat, Medellin, Cebu – that we have worked hard on the processing of the documents, became the inspiration and the source that the Almighty God used as instrument for Rene & Lalaine Realty Development Corporation to had a great launching of Qavah Plains Subdivision on January 26, 2023 at Barangay Dayhagon covered court attended by our very own LGU headed by Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joven Jumao-as, Mondigo, Jr., Senyor Jose Maria Miranda, barangay officials, people from different realties, agents, brokers and investors from Cebu City came to witness the said event too.
A year after where there is a need of transitioning from DTI to SEC, where we need to apply, finally granted us a new name from Securities and Exchange Commission to use Rene and Lalaine Realty, Development Corporation. This is where the team was being molded and created.
Now that the company is slowly getting bigger and is acquiring lands too, surely, by God’s Divine Grace and help, we too, will become one of the big developers here in the North where our Vision and Mission as well as Core Values is being anchored on a solid foundation which is The Word of God.
